লার্নার ড্রাইভিং লাইসেন্স নেওয়ার নিয়ম

A learner license (or learner permit) is the mandatory first step before you can learn to drive or sit for a BRTA driving test. In Bangladesh, learner licenses are now processed online and generated instantly upon successful application.

Step 1: Create a BSP Account

1. Visit the BRTA Service Portal at bsp.brta.gov.bd.
2. Click on Registration to create a user account.
3. Provide your mobile number, NID number, and date of birth.
4. Verify your account via the OTP sent to your mobile.

Step 2: Complete the Medical Form

Before applying, download the medical form from the portal. Have a registered MBBS doctor perform the checkup, sign the document, and stamp it. Scan this completed form to PDF or JPEG (under 1MB).

Step 3: Complete the Learner Form

1. Log in to your BSP account and select Learner Driving License.
2. Select your vehicle category:
   • Single Category: Motorcar (car) OR Motorcycle. Fee is BDT 345.
   • Double Category: Motorcar AND Motorcycle. Fee is BDT 518.
3. Fill out the application form details. Ensure your name matches your NID.
4. Upload your documents: digital photo, NID copy, educational certificate, and the signed medical form.

Step 4: Pay the Permit Fees

Pay the fees online directly through the portal's integrated payment system. Mobile banking portals like bKash, Nagad, or cards are supported.

• Single Category Fee: BDT 345
• Double Category Fee: BDT 518

Step 5: Download and Print Your Permit

Once payment is completed, the system will verify the data. Within minutes, your Learner License document will be generated.

1. Download the Learner Permit PDF.
2. Print a high-quality color copy of the document.
3. Keep this paper safe; it contains your exam venue, exam date, and roll number. You must carry it to the exam hall.
